Liquid polymeric ferric sulfate

Polyferric sulfate is a new type of high-efficiency iron-based inorganic polymeric flocculant. It is reddish-brown in appearance and has a polynuclear complex ion structure in its molecule, which can be rapidly mixed with water at any ratio. The solution contains various forms of iron complex ions, which can quickly exert the effects of charge neutralization and adsorption bridging. Because polyferric sulfate forms large flocculated iron blocks and particles with a fast sedimentation rate, and has a wide applicable pH range, it can be used at room temperature. It has high removal rates for COD, BOD, color, turbidity, phosphorus, and grease, and also has a good deodorizing effect. Polyferric sulfate is particularly effective in purifying low-temperature, high-turbidity water. Relevant national standard GB14591-2016.

  Polyferric sulfate is a new type of high-efficiency iron-based inorganic polymeric flocculant. It has a reddish-brown appearance and a multinuclear complex ion structure in its molecule, which allows it to quickly mix with water at any ratio. The solution contains various forms of iron complex ions, which can quickly exert the effects of charge neutralization and adsorption bridging. Because polyferric sulfate forms large flocculated iron blocks and particles with a fast sedimentation rate, it has a wide applicable pH range, and it can be used at room temperature. It has high removal rates for COD, BOD, color, turbidity, phosphorus, and oil, and it also has a good deodorizing effect. Polyferric sulfate is particularly effective in purifying low-temperature, high-turbidity water. Related national standard GB14591-2016.

  Product Advantages

  Polyferric sulfate has the following advantages compared to other inorganic flocculants:

  1. This product is a new, high-quality, and high-efficiency iron salt inorganic polymer flocculant with a large molecular structure and strong adsorption capacity;

  2. Excellent coagulation performance, dense flocs, fast sedimentation speed, and good filterability;

  3. Excellent water purification effect, good water quality, free of harmful substances such as aluminum, chlorine, and heavy metal ions, no water transfer of iron ions, non-toxic, harmless, and safe and reliable;

  4. Significant effects in turbidity removal, phosphorus removal, decolorization, oil removal, dehydration, sterilization, deodorization, algae removal, and removal of COD, BOD, and heavy metal ions from water;

  5. Wide applicable pH range of the water body, 4-11, with the best pH range being 6-9. The change in the pH and total alkalinity of the original water after purification is small, and the corrosiveness to the treatment equipment is small;

  6. Significant purification effect on micro-polluted water, water containing algae, low-temperature and low-turbidity raw water, and particularly good purification effect on high-turbidity raw water;

  7. Low dosage, low cost, treatment costs can be saved by 20%-50%, and the product is red. If overdosed, it is visually perceptible, reducing waste.

  Product Applications

  1. Can fully replace other inorganic flocculants, used in wastewater treatment for printing and dyeing plants, paper mills, metallurgical plants, electroplating plants, circuit board plants, food plants, pharmaceutical plants, fertilizer plants, and pesticide plants;

  2. Suitable for phosphorus removal or improving sludge dewatering in sewage treatment plants;

  3. Replacing aluminum salts for use in tap water treatment, eliminating residual aluminum pollution in tap water;

  4. Used for sludge dewatering, with excellent results when used with a small amount of polyacrylamide.

  Usage

  1. The dosage can be determined based on the different turbidity of the raw water to determine the optimal dosage. Generally, for turbid water (turbidity 100-500 mg/L), 30-50 kg of this product is used per 1000 tons. The dosage can be increased appropriately for non-drinking water with high turbidity.

  2. When treating industrial wastewater, dilute the first-grade polyferric sulfate to 1-2 times its volume with water. When the source water concentration is high and the treatment water volume is large, it can be directly added. Then, according to the results of the laboratory simulation test, add it according to the optimal process conditions and dosage. After sufficient stirring and coagulation sedimentation, clear effluent can be obtained.

  3. Waterworks can also dilute it 2-5 times before adding. The dosage can be determined based on the properties of the raw water through production debugging or beaker experiments, according to the formation of flocs. Water treatment plants can use the amount of other agents used as a reference. If liquid products are originally used, the dosage can be determined based on the corresponding concentration of the agent, approximately at a weight ratio of 1:3.
